Top five Korean foods I never thought I’d like (or love)

Korean cuisine, much like Korean culture, is very different to what I grew up with and am familiar with: a weird blend of Western/ African/ Mediterranean. But just like the place, I’ve found many things to enjoy (and love) about the food. Here’s a list of some of the strangest things I never thought I’d end up eating on a regular basis.

Friday May 11: Lunchee

Today’s lunch was … okay. I wish I’d had my phone on Tuesday because  lunch was GREAT: tasty soup, fried tofu in sweet and sour sesame sauce, and a mystery meat stew that was darker, richer and more savoury than usual. YUM. As it is, you’ll just have to read about today’s okay lunch instead.
