In some ways it’s crazy to think that I’ve been living in Korea for eight whole months (as of last Thursday, November 24), but in others it feels like I’ve always lived here, like back home was just a dream. Which is also crazy.

The World Cup That Was

The 2010 Fifa World Cup. Our World Cup. It happened right here, in our stadiums, in our towns, in our country. Can you say “I was there”? I can. Now, looking back, there are lots of things I would have done differently: I would have made plans to get to Durban and Cape Town to their awesome Fan Fests; I would have got out and partied with the tourists more; I would have blogged about it much more, and earlier (ahem). But now that it’s been and gone, there’s nothing else to do but look back, and smile. Here, in no particular order (I lie. It’s chronological), are my top five moments / happenings / memories of the World Cup That Was.
